The South Downs Society is a registered charity which does not receive any money from local or national government. The Society relies entirely upon the support and generosity of its members and benefactors. Every contribution is needed and much appreciated and helps us to protect the Downs and make them more easily accessible to all. If you would like to make a donation, please enter the amount in the field below.

By ticking the ‘Treat as Gift Aid’ box, you are agreeing that the South Downs Society can treat this and all future donations as Gift Aid Donations. By doing so, you will enable us to claim an extra 25% of your donation at no extra cost to you.
For your donation to be eligible, you must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities (or Community Amateur Sports Clubs) you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year. Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.
